Shar-Pei - Character

The character of any shar-pei is as unique, as well as its appearance. This breed was deduced, as universal, and such it remained. Shar-pei was the watchman, the hunter, the shepherd and till now the dog has kept these instincts.

Shar-peis are extremely betrayed to a family in which they live. As a whole they are nonaggressive and more like the conceiving, patient, reserved, proud dog with self-respect.

The hunting instincts are very strong, thanks to what shar-peis can catch mice even better that cats, and the sentry instincts make shar-pei a fine "nurse" for other animals and even for children, and for this purpose it does not need special training.
